African Senegal

African Senegals may not be the flashiest bird around, but they are social and loving by nature -- and will want you to return that affection! Typically a quiet bird, they are on the large side for a pet (9”), acrobatic, and love chew and rope toys! African Senegals are appealing to many prospective bird enthusiasts because of the lower price tag compared to similar birds, but of course that doesn’t mean they are any less of a responsibility -- living for more than 30 years in captivity, they are a serious long-term commitment!
