Amazons

Amazons are medium to large birds with huge personalities. They love to play, are likely to pick up many words, and can be quite noisy – especially if they want something (like your attention). They are adaptable and trainable, and need an enriched environment to keep them stimulated. They can do well on a formulated pellet diet supplemented with leafy greens, nuts, veggies, and fruit; watch treats and overall intake, as they love to eat and can become obese.
