American Leopard Hound

A sturdy and agile all-purpose tree dog who excel with larger game, the American Leopard Hound is a medium to large-sized dog (up to 27” and 75lbs). Despite being known as hard workers, they are “people pleasers” and far from aloof. Easily trainable, and good with families, though care must be taken with smaller pets, as they have a strong prey drive. The American Leopard Hound is currently being recorded in the AKC Foundation Stock Service, and is a registered breed with the United Kennel Club.
