American Staffordshire Terrier

The American Staffordshire Terrier (Am Staff) is a powerful, short-legged dog (up to 19” tall), thought to come from a cross from the Bulldog and a game terrier. Am Staffs are very friendly and loyal to their families, but also protective. They need regular exercise and training, and are blessed with short, low-maintenance coats.
