Belgian Sheepdog

The Belgian Sheepdog is an average sized (26” tall) dog, and an extremely versatile worker, excelling as herding dogs, search and rescue dogs, ambulance, war dogs, therapy dogs, and of course wonderful companions. He is highly intelligent and trainable, and thrives with families who provide him with regular jobs to do. Loyal and protective, the Belgian Sheepdog is also excellent with children (especially when raised from puppyhood), though as always, parental supervision is a must. His long hair requires weekly brushing at a minimum.
