Afghan Hound   Active, Regular Grooming

The Afghan Hound originated in Afghanistan, and is known for its silky coat, powerful stride, and regal aloofness. Each personality is highly unique as their loving owners will attest. Afghans stand 25-27” tall, and are active dogs who require regular exercise to be satisfied. Their silky coat also requires regular grooming. Recommended for owners with enclosed (i.e. fenced), safe spaces for them to run, but not apartment life unless there is a way to meet their needs.
